Description

The photo was taken during the celebrations for the 10 year anniversary of the Svensk Magisk Cirkel in March 1956. On the photo we see Fred Kaps, Henk Vermeyden and Carl-Oscar Howing, who was President for the Swedish Magic Circle 1957-1962, and editor for its club magazine 1955-1959.

Coincidentally, Carl-Oscar Howings family had its origins in Amsterdam. His forefather Jan Jansson Hoving emigrated from Holland to Sweden in the late 1600’s and became rich as a tobacco manufacturer.
